Muguet Parfum Yarn Palette

Standard

via Agence Eureka

“Muguet Parfum” celebrates spring and summer and is composed of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in Antique White, Buttercup and Mid-Green, along with Herrschners Worsted 8 in Goldenrod and Russet. You don’t need to use these particular yarns to achieve this palette; choose the closest hues from your favorite yarn and usher in some yarny spring breezes.

Modular Layout #2164

Standard

In the 2015BamCal Ravelry group, in many other CALs (and KALs), and even just for the fun of it, a crafter makes a number of squares, then pieces them together to form an afghan, blanket or throw. It’s like putting together a quilt design except that, although other shapes are possible, it’s most common to be working with squares. I’ll be posting some ideas for arranging those squares; some based on sizes, others on color placement. Hope they help boost inspiration in a project for you.

How Much is That Yarn Palette

Standard

Maybe I can post these a little more frequently as the ball gets rolling. Been a busy week and I got caught up in stuff – yadda yadda, get on with the palette. This doggie may not be for sale, but these colors are just begging for someone to put them together in a yarn project.

“How much is that…?” is constructed of worsted acrylic: Red Heart Classic in Sea Coral, Red Heart With Love in Tan and Chocolate, and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Sapphire and Linen. You don’t need to use these specific yarns, of course; simply select similar colors in your favorite yarns, and make something wonderful.
